Sauté the Sausage in skillet to brown
once brown move to paper lined mixing bowl and set it aside for now
add the onions and peppers into the skillet and sauté until soft
once the onion and peppers are cooked down add the garlic, mix in and sauté for about a minute.
add in 32 oz of chicken broth or stock
whisk in 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
add the 8oz block of cubed cream cheese
add two Tbs of granulated garlic
add two tsp Italian Seasoning
add once cup of parmesan cheese
Mix everything together and melt down all the cheese.
Mix the cheese Tortellini into the sauce, make sure it is covered well in the sauce. Place a lid on your skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.(I didn't have a lid that would fit my skillet, so I used a baking sheet) Add the Sausage back into the skillet and mix in.I had to put my sausage into a baking sheet; my Skillet wasn't big enough to hold all the ingredients. Pour the Tortellini and cheese sauce over the sausage and mix well.
let rest, covered in foil, for about 5 more minutes and serve.
