A Healthier, Homemade Option

About five years ago, I started mixing my own seasoning blends. After my heart attack, I had to watch my salt intake, and I quickly realized most store-bought spice blends are loaded with sodium!

This garlic onion seasoning became my daily go-to for almost all my recipes. It’s simple, salt-free, and full of flavor — a perfect way to season your meals without added sodium.

Simple, Versatile, and Easy to Make

I mix up a batch about once a month, and it lasts me for all kinds of cooking. The best part? It’s versatile. I often use it as a base to make other spice blends. For example, if I need lemon pepper seasoning, I simply add granulated lemon to this mix.

This DIY blend is a small step toward healthier cooking and gives you complete control over your flavors.
