Description

In Morganfield, the Camp Breckinridge Museum & Art Center preserves the story of one of western Kentucky’s important military sites. Camp Breckinridge served as a U.S. Army training installation during World War II and later became a prisoner-of-war camp for German and Italian soldiers. Exhibits and interpretive materials help connect the camp’s military history with the soldiers, prisoners, workers, and Union County residents whose lives were shaped by it.
