Monticello Railway Museum Wabash Depot, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization in central Illinois with an operational railroad and yard open to the public. Offering train rides on Saturdays and Sundays from May 2 through October 4, as well as a number of special events throughout the year. The Museum exhibits and grounds are open from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM when the weekend trains are running

Rossville Depot & Model Railroad Museum

The depot, built by the Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad in 1903, has been restored to the 1950's era of that former road. The building sits adjacent to the Chicago-Nashville mainline of CSX Transportation, formerly known as the Seaboard System and earlier the Lousville and Nashville Railroad. The depot has been leased from these lines since 1976.

West Frankfort Veterans’ Military Museum

The Veterans Military Museum is dedicated to the men and women of West Frankfort and surrounding communities that have served their country during the time of war. Many young boys of the area left from this very depot to go to war.
