German Beef Goulash (Rindergulasch) – Traditional German Comfort Food

German beef goulash, known as Rindergulasch, is a popular dish served in many German restaurants and homes. This hearty comfort food is made with tender beef slowly simmered with onions, paprika, and savory seasonings to create a rich and flavorful sauce.

I decided to give this traditional German recipe a try, and it turned out to be both easy to make and incredibly delicious. The slow cooking process allows the beef to become tender while the flavors blend together into a thick, satisfying dish.

There are several ways you can serve German goulash. I chose to serve mine over homemade spaetzle, but it is also wonderful served with boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or traditional German potato dumplings.

Give this recipe a try and enjoy a classic taste of German comfort cooking.
